Step-by-step explanation:

Let the total distance covered = x km

and the total fare = y Rs.

Since,

Total fare = first km fare + fare for the remaining km —(eq.1)

As we know that the fare for the first km = 10 Rs.

Remaining km = (x-1)

Fare for the remaining km = 4(x-1)

Put the values in (eq.1)

y = 10(1) + 4(x-1)

y = 10 + 4x - 4

y = 4x + 6

when x = 0

we have, y = 4(0) + 6

so y = 6

when x = -1

we have, y = 4(-1) + 6

so y = 2

when x = -2

we have, y = 4(-2) + 6

so y = -2

x = 0 , y = 6

x = -1 , y = 2

x = -2 , y = -2
