HELO FRND HERE IS UR ANSWER...

STAGES OF GROUP FORMATION:

THE BEST KNOWN UNIVERSAL SCHEME FOR GROUP DEVELOPMENT WAS ADVANCED BY BRUCE TUCKMAN (1935), WHICH INCLUDED FIVE STAGES:

→FORMING

→NORMING

→STORMING

→PERFORMING

A FIFTH STAGE WAS LATER ADDED CALLED:

→ADJOURNING.

*NORMING STAGE* IS A TIME WHERE GROUP MEMBERS BECOME A COHESIVE UNIT.

★EXPLANATION ABOUT EACH STAGE:★

✓FIRST STAGE: FORMING:-

IN THIS STAGE, THE MEMBERS ARE IN THE PROCESS OF COMING TOGETHER, KNOWING EACH OTHER AND IDENTIFYING THE GOAL.

✓SECOND STAGE: NORMING:-

THE GROUP COMES INTO BALANCE;

ACCEPT A FORMAL OR INFORMAL STRUCTURE, LEADERSHIP,ROLE,DUTIES,WAY OF CONDUCT ETC...

✓THIRD STAGE: STORMING:-

IN THIS STAGE, THE MEMBERS TRY TO FIND OUT THEIR ROLE AND THEIR CONTRIBUTION TO THE ROLE INCLUDING THE OBSTACLES.

✓FOURTH STAGE: PERFORMING:-

THE GROUP NOW BECOMES STABLE, KNOWS THE DETAILS AND START EXECUTION. WORK PROCEEDS AS PER THE NORMS TOWARDS THE GOALS SET.

✓FIFTH STAGE: ADJOURNING:-

NORMALLY A GROUP ADJOURNS AFTER IT HAS ACCOMPLISHED ITS GOAL.

EG:-

A PROJECT OR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ETC..
