x=12

ur answer is somewhat like this:-

Let suppose the two numbers be x, x+2
according to question
sum = 50
~ x+ (x+2) = 50
~ 2x + 2 = 50
~ 2x = 48
~ x = 24

so, x+2 = 26.
Hence , the two consecutive even number whose sum is 50 is 24 and 26
