T.S.A of cuboid =2(lb + bh+lh) = 200 m²
L.S.A = 2h( l+b) = 140 m²

The base area = lb

140 = 2h ( l+b)
140/2 = h(l +b)
70 = h( l+b).................(i)

200 = 2(lb + bh+ lh)
100 = lb + bh + lh
100 = lb + h( l + b)
100 = lb + 70................Putting the value from eq(i)
lb = 100 - 70
lb = 30 m²

∴ Area of the base = 30m²

Answer:

T.S.A = 200CM square

L.S.A = 140 CM square

AREA OF BASE

=140 = 2H(L+b)

=140/2 = h(l+b)

= 70=h(l+b)

200=2(lb+bh+hl)

200/2 = (bl+bh+hl)

100 = Lb + h(l+b)

100= lb +100

lb= 100-70

lb= 30 square

AREA OF BASE = 30 CM SQUARE
