$i)\tan ^{4} \theta+\tan ^{2} \theta=\sec ^{4} \theta-\sec ^{2} \theta$

L.H.S = $\tan ^{4} \theta+\tan ^{2} \theta$

          $\Rightarrow \tan ^{2} \theta\left[\tan ^{2} \theta+1\right]$

           $\Rightarrow\left(\sec ^{2} \theta-1\right)\left[\sec ^{2} \theta\right]$

           $\left[\because 1+\tan ^{2} \theta=\sec ^{2} \theta\right]$

          $\left.\tan ^{2} \theta=\left(\sec ^{2} \theta-1\right)\right]$

             $\Rightarrow \sec ^{4} \theta-\sec ^{2} \theta$

              = R.H.S

L.H.S = R.H.S

$\tan ^{4} \theta+\tan ^{2} \theta=\sec ^{4} \theta-\sec ^{2} \theta$  நிருபிக்கபட்டது.
