Current through the conductor in 0 to 2 sec is 18 Ampere. Negative sigh shows the direction is opposite.

Explanation:

Q(t) = 8t² - 2t

We have to find out current in time interval 0 to 2 sec

So, use formula , i = [Q(t₂) - Q(t₁) ]/(t₂ - t₁)

Q(t₂) = Q(2) = 8(2)² - 2(0) = 32 - 8 = 32

Q(t₁) = Q(0) = 5(0)² - 2(4) = 0 - 4 = -4

so, current , i = (32 - (-4)/(0 - 2) = 36/-2 = -18 Ampere .

Hence, current through the conductor in 0 to 2 sec is 18 Ampere. Negative sigh shows the direction is opposite.
