There is a water all around but it is not available for human consumption.why is it so?

only 2.5% of 70% of water is available for human use. the rest are in the form of oceans and seas. seas and ocean contain a huge amount of salt and minerals whose consumption may lead to death. the others are pure water which when consumed will also cause some severe teased as pure water cannot be digested by humans or animals .
