The angle of elevation of a tower is observed to be 60 degree at the end of a horizontal base of 120 M measured from its bottom. Calculate the height of the tower.

here is your answer !!

the angle of elevation of tower is 60°

and

base = 120 m

now , tan 60 ° = perpendicular / base =. height of tower / distance to horizontal base

{ tan 60 ° = √ 3 }

=> √3 = height of tower / 120 m

hence , height of tower is => √ 3 × 120m
