Area = 1/2 * base * altitude
altitude = median in an equilateral triangle = √3/2 * base
Area = √3/4 * base² = 9 √3  meters
         base = 6 meters      => altitude = 3√3 meters

Pisingh: I attempted this , question I'm unable to understand, please can you explain again. Thank you !! ☺
kvnmurty: in an equilateral triangle ABC the median AD is same as the altitude and perpendicular bisector of the base BC. the altitude AD meets the base BC at the center D of the base BC. the altitude AD, half of base DC and one side AC form a right angle triangle. AC is the hypotenuse.
