Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be numerator and y be denominator.

According to question:

x-6/4+2x-6=1/12

12x-72=2x-2

12x-2x=-2+72

10x=70

x=7

y=4+2(7)=4+14=18.

7-6/18-6=1/12.

Therefore, the fraction is 7/18.
