The denominator of a rational number is greater than its number by 6. If 2 is
subtracted from the numerator and 3 added to the denominator, the number is 2/3 find
the original number.​

let the numerator be x and the denominator be x+6

now,

(x-2)/(x+6+3) = 2/3

(x-2)/(x+9)=2/3

(x-2)3 = (x+9)2

3x-6 = 2x+18

3x-2x = 18+6

x = 24
