Hi there!
♦ Given :-
Vertices of parallelogram ABCD
→ A = (-2, 3)
→ B = (6, 7)
→ C = (8, 3)
→ D = ?
♦ Constn. :- Joining A to C n' B to D
Diagonal AC = Diagonal BD
→ Co- ordinates from diagonal AC:-
O = [ 3, 3 ]
→ Co- ordinates from diagonal BD:-
O = [ 6 + x / 2, 7 + y / 2 ]
Thus,
6 + x / 2 = 3
6 + x = 6
x = 0
n'
7 + y / 2 = 3
7 + y = 6
y = -1
Therefore,
Co- ordinates of D = (x, y) = (0, -1)
hope it helps! :)
