the godavari flows west to east. why.

its because:
                     Western Ghats are sloped towards east .  As water have a nature of flowing towards the slope the river godavari too flows towards east..

Note: Godavari is situated in Western Ghats.

Godavari is in Western Ghats and it is sloped towards East that is why the Godavari flows from west to east.
