the godavari flows west to east . why?

The river godavari is situated in western ghats as they are sloped towards east and water flows in the sloped direction

River Godavari flows east wards from west...

THE GODAVARI BEING IN THE WESTERN GHATS AND IS ALSO SLOPPED TO THE EAST FLOWS TO THE EAST .....
