Answer:

Explanation:

Horizontal range = 50m

Let the angle of projection be α

Initial velocity = u

Acceleration due to gravity = g

∅1 = 15° and ∅2 = 45°

Thus,

In first case where range = 50

=u²/g(sin² x 15°)

=u²/2g

u²/g = 100

In second case where range = u²/g (sin² x 45°)

= [u²/g ]sin 90

= 100m

Thus, the projectile when fired at an angle of 45°, will have the range of 100m
