The internal length of a room is two times its breadth and three time its hieght.the total cost of painting its four wall is at the rate of 25 sq.m is 3600 rupee.what is the cost of laying a carpet on its floor at the rate of 90.50 rupee​

  • The internal length of a room is two times its Breadth and three times its height.

  • The total Cost of painting it's four wall is at rate of 25sq.cm is 3600.

TO FIND:-

  • The Cost of carpet on floor at the rate of 90.50rupee.

Now,

Let the Breadth be x

\sf\pink{Length\:of\:room=2x}

\sf\pink{Height\:of\:room=\frac{2x}{3}}

\sf\blue{Area\:of\:four\:walls=2(L+B)h}

Now,Put the values.

\sf\red{Area\:of\:four\:walls=2(2x+x)×\frac{2x}{3}}

\sf\red{Area\:of\:four\:walls=6x×\frac{2x}{3}}

\sf\blue{Area\:of\:four\:walls=4x^2}

  • Now, as we know that Rate of painting of 25ruppe per sq.m is 3600.

  • We will divide and find the area of wall.

\sf\red{Area\:of\:walls=\frac{3600}{25}}

\sf\blue{Area\:of\:four\:walls=\frac{\cancel{3600}}{\cancel{25}}}

Hence, The area of four wall is 144m^2.

Now,

Compareing it.

\sf{4x^{2}=144m^{2}}

\sf{x=36}

Now,

Length=2×36=72m^2

Breadth=36m^2

Height=24m^2

Now,

Cost of laying a carpet floor is 90.50rupee

Area of floor = L×B= 72×36= 2592m^2.

Cost of laying carpet floor =90.50×2592=234,576rupee.

Hence, The cost of laying carpet is 234,576 rupees
