Let the breadth (B) of the rectangle be 'x'm

So,
Length(L) = 3x .....................( given )

Perimeter of the rectangle = 48m

We know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L + B)

48 = 2(3x + x)

48 = 2(4x)

48 = 8x

 \frac{48}{8} = x

6 = x
x = 6m
Therefore,
The breadth of the rectangle is 6m.

Length = 3x = 3(6) =18
so,
Length=18m.

Final answer:
Length = 18m & Breadth =6m

hope this helps ! ! !
