Let the original fraction be x/y

Given x is increased by 250% =x+250% of x =x + 5/2 x = 7/2x

y is increased by 300% = y +300% of y = y +300/100y = 4y.

Given that 7/2 x / 4y = 7/9

7x/8 y =7/9

x/y = 7/9* 8/7

x/y = 8/9.

Therefore, The original fraction is 8/9
