Answer:

60 m, 36 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given  the perimeter of a rectangular lawn is 192 m it is reduced in size so that the length is forth fifths and the breadth is three fourth of the original dimensions now its new perimeter is 150 M find the original length and breadth

Let the length be x m and breadth be y m.

Now according to question we have,

2(x + y) = 192

X + y = 96 ------------(1)

Also we have

2(4/5 x + 3 / 4 y) = 150

4/5 x + 3/ 4 y = 75

16 x + 15 y = 1500 ---------(2)

From equation 1 and 2 we have

Multiply equation 1 by 15 we get

15 x + 15 y = 1440

16 x + 15 y = 1500

X = 60

Now x + y = 96

       60 + y = 96

           Y = 96 – 60

         Y = 36

So original length and breadth will be 60 m and 36 m
