the perimeter of rhombus 52 cm and one of its diagonal is 10 centimetre find the length of the Other diagonal and area of Rhombus

Other diagonal = 24cm

Area = 120cm²

explanation :

perimeter of a rhombus = 52cm

each side = 52/4 = 13cm

one of the diagonal P = 10cm

using pythagoras theorem taking one inner triangle of a rhombus with diagnoal D1 as base and other diagonal as Q

13² = (10/2)² +(P/2)²

(P/2)² = 144

(P/2) = 12

P = 24cm

Area of the rhombus = P x Q /2

=>24 x 10 /2  = 120cm²
