The sting of wasps are basic not acidic, their sting effect can be cured by rubbing slowly over the sting with a solution of dilute acetic acid(vinegar)

Answer:

Heya!

➡When an wasp bites, you feel pain and the spot becomes itchy.

➡The area becomes red and inflamed.

➡This is due to the formic acid present in the wasp's sting.

➡The effect of the acid can be neutralised by immediately rubbing the spot with a base like moist baking soda (sodium hydrogen carbonate) or calamine solution (zinc oxide).
