Let l = 12 cm and height corresponding to it, h1 = 6cm
b = 8cm and height corresponding to it, h2

Area = l × h1
= 12 × 6
= 72 cm^2

Area = b × h2
72 = 8 × h2
h2 = 9 cm

Adjacent sides are 12 cm and 8 cm
Height corresponding to longer side (12 cm) = 6 cm

Area of parallelogram = base × height
Area of parallelogram = 12 × 6 = 72 sq. cm

Area of parallelogram = base × height
72 = 8 × height
72/8 = height

So, height corresponding to shorter sides = 9 cm
