m1/m2=3
k1/k2=1/3 =(1/2)m1v1²/(1/2)m2v2²=1/3
= m1/v1²/m2v2²=1/3
But,(m1/m2=3)
=3(v1/v2)²=1/3
=(v1/v2)²=1/9
=v1/v2=(1/9)½=1/3

1:3 is the ratio of their velocities.

Explanation:

As we know,

\frac{m_{1}}{3} = m_{2}

3E_{1} = E_{2}

E_{1} = 0.5m_{1} v1^{2}

E_{2} = 3E_{1} = 0.5m_{2}  v2_{2} = 0.5(m_{1}/3) V2_{2}

9E_{1} = 0.5m_{1} v2_{2}

v1_{2}/v2_{2} = 1/9

\frac{v_{1} }{v_{2} } = \frac{1}{3}
