The variation of pressure P with volume V, for an ideal monoatomic gas during an adiabatic process is as :

* PV^1.67 =constant

* For any adiabatic process, the relation between Pressure and volume is PV^γ = constant

* For a monoatomic gas, the value of γ is 1.67. So, for a mono-atomic gas, the relation between Pressure and volume is PV^1.67 =constant.
