volume =1584
height =14
v=πr^h
=22/7*r*14=1584
22/7r=1584/14
R=1584/14*7/22
r=1584/44
=792/22
=396/11
=36
radius 36

TSA =2πr(r+h)
=2*22/7*36(36+14)
=44/7*36*50
=44/7*180
=6.28*180

=113.04 cm

Answer:

The total surface area of solid cylinder is

754.28cm {}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

The volume of solid cylinder is

V = 1584cm {}^{3}

Height of solid cylinder is

h = 14cm

The expression for volume of solid cylinder is given as

V = \pi \: r {}^{2} h

Where,

r=radius of cylinder

h=height of cylinder

Substituting the given values in above equation,we get

1584 = \pi \: r {}^{2} (14) \\ r {}^{2}  =  \frac{1584}{14 \times  \frac{22}{7} }  =  \frac{1584}{44}  = 36 \\ r = 6cm

Therefore the radius of solid cylinder is 6cm

Now expression for Total surface area of solid cylinder is

T.S.A = 2\pi \: r(r + h)

Substituting given values we get,

T.S.A = 2\pi (6)(6 + 14) = 240\pi = 754.28cm {}^{2}

Therefore,the total surface area of solid cylinder is

754.28cm {}^{2}
