The Second Industrial Revolution saw the invention of Automobiles, Steel Mills, Diesel Engine, Type-writer, oil and production of petrol,Refrigerator, Phonograph, Airplane, Radio, Electric light, Elevator and number of other important inventions.
The discovery and invention of these devices and tools eased the life of people. These reduced the cost and time of people. More importantly, it made quality of life better for people. It raised the standard of living of people and increased the purchasing power of people. The purchasing power further lead them to live a better life. The people began to have a healthy food, pure water, standard houses, clean clothes (washing machine) etc which made the quality of life better for people.
