The Second Industrial Revolution also known as Technological Revolution saw new and important technological discoveries and inventions which made quality of life better for people. The Second Industrial Revolution saw the invention of Automobiles, Steel Mills, Diesel Engine, Type-writer, oil and production of petrol,Refrigerator, Phonograph, Airplane, Radio, Electric light, Elevator and number of other important inventions.

The discovery and invention of these devices and tools eased the life of people. These reduced the cost and time of people. More importantly, it made quality of life better for people. It raised the standard of living of people and increased the purchasing power of people. The purchasing power further lead them to live a better life. The people began to have a healthy food, pure water, standard houses, clean clothes (washing machine) etc which made the quality of life better for people. The people could reach to any part of the world through invention of diesel engine and production of petrol. Similarly people could communicate to any part of the world while sitting at home through telephone. So in nutshell, these inventions eased and made quality of life better for people.

The Second Industrial Revolution has brought in new innovations and has enhanced the quality of life that people are living.

This revolution was witnessed mostly in the Europe. There are many products that have contributed greatly to the second Industrial revolution.

There include chemicals, petroleum, steel, iron, textiles, railroads, etc. These products advanced the social classes in the society.
