here is your answer...
the position of the particle at a time t is given as :
x(t) = v0/a(1-e-at)
as x denotes position, (x) = m, i.e distance in meter.
here the exponential, e^at must be dimesionless.
hence (a) = s^-1 or inverse time.
or a = (M0 L0 T^-1)
--> (V0) / (a) = (V0) s = m
hence V0 has dimensions of velocity, i.e (V0) = ms ^ -1.
or V0 = (M0 LO T^-1)
