Three mirrors are created from a single sphere.

Given Terms :

  1. Pole
  2. Radius of curvature
  3. Centre of curvature
  4. Principal axis.

Radius of curvature :

It is the radius of sphere from which the mirror was actually derived.

Since, All the three mirrors are derived from the same sphere, They all have a common radius of curvature.

Centre of curvature :

It is the Centre of sphere from which the mirror was actually derived.

Since, All the three mirrors are derived from the same sphere, They all have a common Centre of curvature.

Pole :

It is a point at which light rays reflect symmetrically. It can be said that, It is the point which divides the the mirror into two symmetrical part.

Since, The three parts may or may not be identical. They don't have a common pole.

Principal axis :

It is the line passing through Centre of curvature and Pole of the mirror.

Because, The three mirrors don't have a same pole. They don't have a common principal axis.
