Hi friend!

U should include date, day, time and then you can start to write your diary entry. Basically we write our personal diaries at night when the day is going to be over and we write all the things that happened with us on a particular day. At last you write GOOD NIGHT and finish your diary entry.

FORMAT OF DIARY ENTRY

14 June 17 ( Wednesday)
10:59 pm
Dear diary

Content

Good night

HOPE IT HELPS U

A diary entry should comprise of all the events of the day. We write in diaries like we are talking to our friend about all that had happened on that certain day.It mainly about our feelings and views. It is important to mention the date ,time, day and year or we may not remember when a certain incident took place. We generally write our diary at the end of the day (although you can write anytime you want). A diary entry is written usually after the event is over so it is written in past tense.
Diary entry can't really have a format because we write our own diaries and only we read it.But in schools we are supposed to write in a similar pattern as all the students. So our schools provide us with formats of writing diary.
Format:
Date Year Day Time
you may or may not start with dear diary.(many people have names of their diaries like, mary ......they may say ----Dear Mary.....but only write like that if your school allows you)
You can end when you think that there is nothing more to tell your diary about your day. You can end with a good night or just stop writing like that.

Formats usually differs from school to school. So please follow the format given in your school. The format given above is the format given in my school.
