Two cars are 15 kms apart. one is running at a speed of 50kmph and the other at 40kmph. how much time will it take for the two cars to meet?

supposing that that the 40kmph-car is ahead, then the rear car should run (15 km gap + 40 kmph X time required for both the cars to meet) 

i.e: 15 + 40 * time = 50 * time 
------> time = 1.5 hours
