Let the second number = 3x

According to question :

8x + 3x = 143

11x = 143

x = 143 / 11

x = 13

Hence

The first number = 8x = 8(13) = 104

The second number = 3x = 3(13) = 39.

so,

the one no is

$8x \\ \\ and \: the \: value \: of \: x \: is \: 13$

means , 8×13 = 104
