Let the angles be x,

The first angle = 4x

The second angle = 5x

We know that if Two angles are supplementary their sum is equal to 180°.

4x + 5x = 180°

➝ 9x = 180°

➝ x = 180° / 9

x = 20°

We know,

  • The first angle = 4 × 20 = 80°

  • The second angle = 5 × 20 = 100°
