Using componento-dividendo rule,
(x^3 + 12x + 6x^2 + 8)/(x^3 + 12x - 6x^2 - 8) = (y^3 + 9y + 27y^2 + 27)/(y^3 + 9y - 27y^2 - 27)
(X+2)^3/(x-2)^3 = (y+2)^3/(y-2)^3
Taking cube root both sides,
X+2/x-2=y+3/y-3
(X+2)(y-3)=(x-2)(y+3)
Solving this,
X/y=2/3
