Sometimes we see water droplets on theouter surface of the glass containing ice-cold water this is because the watervapour presents in air, on coming in contact with the cold glass of water, loses energy and gets converted to liquid state, which we see as water droplets.

1. The temperature of the outer surface of a glass containing cold water is less than that of the atmosphere.

2. Therefore, the excess of water vapour from the air condenses to form droplets on the outer surface of the glass containing cold water.

Hope it helps!
