given ,
flow rate=10m/min
radius =5mm/2=2.5mm

now for conical vessel
radius=40cm
height=24cm
now
volume of conical vessel=pi.r^2.h/3
=22/7 x 40 x 40 x 24/3

volume of cylindrical pipe=volume of conical vessel
let at tmin time conical vessel fill completely
hence length of water required =10tm=1000tcm
hence ,
volume of cylindrical pipe=volume of conical vessel
pi.r^2.l=22/7 x 40 x 40 x 8

(0.25)^2 x 1000t=40 x 40 x 8

t=40 x 40 x 8/(0.25)^2 x 1000

=204.8 min
