in autotrophic nutrition one can make its good by itself but in hetetottophic nutrition one is dependent on others for food example plants can make their own good they show autotrophic nutrition and humans take food from plants they show autotrophic nutrition.

Hi friend,

Differences between autotrophic and herterotrophic nutrition are:-

•In Autotrophic nutrition, the organisms prepare their own food whereas in heterotrophic nutrition, the organisms do not prepare their own food but depends on another organisms for food.

•Autotrophs are producers whereas Heterotrophs are consumers in food chain.

•Examples for aututrophs are Plants whereas for Heterotrophs are some plants and higher animals.

•There are two types of autotrophic nutrition. They are Phototrophic and Chemotrophic whereas there are 4 types of Heterotrophic nutrition, they are holozoic,Saphrophytic,Parasitic and Symbiotic nutrition.

Hope it helps
