Metal:- A metal is a material that is typically hard, shiny, and has good electrical and thermal conductivity. Metals are generally malleable that is, they can be hammered or pressed permanently out of shape without breaking or cracking. As well as fusible and ductile.

Non metal:- non metals have properties opposite those of metals. The non metals are brittle, not malleable or ductile, poor conductors of both heat and electricity.
