The reasons for overloading in an electric circuit are:
- The phenomenon of overloading happens when there is an excessive flow of current and that is naturally more than the capacity of the different parts of the circuit to hinder the current.
- As a result of this excessive current, the electric wires are also provided with that excessive current and it may result in the damage of that wires.
- When there is direct contact between the neutral wires and lives wires, it results in a short circuit and also overloading.
- The overloading may also happen due to the overusing of the external cords.
