In the poem " oh I wish I'd look after me teeth " the poet Pam Ayres wished that she may get her old teeth back. She thought if she would not chew the gobstoppers and lick the lollies then she would not have arrived a situation her mother approached i.e putting a false teeth.
She wished that she should be more careful.

hi friend.....

In the poetry oh I wish I looked after me teeth the poet is telling about what happened to her teeth in her childhood. in her childhood the poet keep on eating chocolate, lollies, candies, and sticky food .she doesn't even spent some time on her tooth and doesn't even care for it. and now she got a cavity in her tooth. now she has to bear painful injections and drill . she is regretting that if she had taken care of her tooth she might be free of any cavities..

hope it helped you :)
