what is a meaning of congruent???

congruent means being equal when place one upon other.
for example : two triangles are said to be congruent when they are equal in area when placed upon each other or if they are proved to be congruent by any congruence rules like SAS,SSS,ASA,AAS and RHS.

congruent means in maths is known as 'equal' ..

mysticd: if two figures has same size and shape then they are called congruent figures.
