Accommodation in the political system means strategy wherein all the major segments of society are provided with a permanent share of power in the governance of the country to address the regional, cultural diversities.  Such a system proves very worthy where ethnic differences might become a cause of conflict that could result in the disintegration of a country.

Example - The case of Belgium which amended constitution to address ethnic differences to keep the country united.
