here is your answer
A cyclone is an area of low pressure surrounded by high pressure. Strong winds blow from all directions towards the centre in spiral motion. The eye of a cyclone is a region of calm weather formed at centre of a strong cyclone. Due to earth's rotation the winds blow in an anti clockwise direction in the northern hemisphere while in the southern hemisphere they blow in a clockwise direction. These winds bring heavy rain and cause huge loss of life and property in the areas over which they blow.
