Esterification is a reaction in which carboxylic acid reacts with alcohol to form ester...

Ethanol + ethanoic acid = ethyl ethanoate

Saponification is a reaction in which veg oil or animal fat (natural esters) react with NaOH or KOH to form long chain carboxylic acid (soap) and glycerol (alcohol)....

Veg oil + NaOH = soap + glycerol..

esterification :- esterification means process of preparation esters .esterification involves reaction between alcohol and carboxylic acid .

saponification :-saponification means process the preparation of soap and it involves reaction between carboxylic acid and a base .....
