The word finite means ' limited ' .
Finite verbs :
A verb that undergoes changes in accordance with the tense, person and number of the subject is called a Finite verb .
Non-Finite verbs :
A verb that does not undergoes any changes based on the tense, person and number is called a Non -Finite verb
