what is foreign policy? how does India view its foreign policy?​

Foreign policy involves procedures & approaches one country sets & follows while dealing with another country, keeping in mind their own interests primarily.

India’s foreign policy has always been of Non-Alignment inclined towards being a soft-power. Most of the time India abstains itself from taking direct part in conflicts of 2 countries but helps them by providing humanitarian aid. We rarely follow aggressive foreign policy & thus avoid to initiate an issue. However, India doesn’t back off if it’s sovereignty is challenged.
