Displacement reaction is a chemical reaction in which a more reactive element displaces a less reactive element from its compound.
(Both metals and non-metals take part)

 Reaction of iron nails with copper sulphate solution is an example of Displacement reaction

The reaction in which elements replace by other reagent is called displacement reaction....
Eg 2NaCl+H2SO4 = 2HCl + Na2SO4
