Then they are left to grow back their natural vegetation, while the farmer moves to another area. Shifting cultivation is a type of cultivation usually followed by tribes where one part of the forest is cleared by burning it down and the land is used for growing crops.once the nutrients of the land are used up this land is abandoned.this type of cultivation is called shifting cultivation
