Myelin Sheath or Medullary sheath is a protectory cover of Neuron specially the part Axon . The sheath is a composition of proteins , fats and other components which make it hard and tough enough to provide protection to the Axon from sudden shock or any other disturbance in carrying electrical impulses from Cell Body to Dendrites.
