To describe each electron in an atom in different orbitals , there is four quantum number given to find it :-

1)Principal quantum number.

2)Azimuthal quantum number

3)Magnetic quantum numbers

4)Spin quantum number

The quantum no identifies shell ,orbital ,shape of orbitals ,spin of electrons etc.
