respiration is a vital process in all living organisms . it goes on non stop throughout life .

it is the chemical process of releasing energy by breaking down glucose for carrying out life processes


it is of two types
aerobic respiration which takes place in the presence of oxygen
and
anaerobic respiration which takes place in the absence of oxygen
